Max received his B.Sc and M. Sc in Biotechnology and Food Engineering from the Technion in 2009 and 2011, respectively. His M.Sc. thesis work employed porous silicon-polymer nanocomposites as optical biosensors for detection of organophosphorus-containing compounds, under the supervision of Prof. Ester Segal. His current doctoral research focuses on development and characterization of novel antimicrobial polymer nanocomposites for active packaging applications.
