Kayan received her B.Sc in Biotechnology and Food Engineering from the Technion in 2021. She joined our group in June 2020 as a research assistant and in March 2021 she began her graduate studies. Kayan’s research focuses on the integration of optical porous silicon biosensors with 3D printed microfluidics for biomarkers detection. Her work is in collaboration with the group of Dr. Janina Bahnemann at the Leibniz University Hannover.
